Pristina Youth Summit took place in December 14-16, 2012 in Pristina and it gathered 150 socially and politically active young individuals from the countries of the Western Balkans, the European Union and (post) conflict areas throughout the World, as well as representatives of state institutions in the region.
The objective of the Summit was the creation of a platform for cooperation of youth activists from the countries of the Western Balkans and their networking with the youth from the entire World, who deal with similar problems on daily basis.
Prishtina Youth Summit had a strong focus of youth participation in democratic processes and explored key issues of the role of youth in building democratic societies, improving the cooperation of youth, and similarities of global struggles for democracy within different regional contexts.
