Hasler Iván Iglesias Yañez is the national leader of the youth movement of the People's Will political party and former President of the Federation of University Centers of the Central University of Venezuela (2015–2017), the highest order of student representation in the country.

Mr. Iglesias has been an organizer and participant in hundreds of non-violent protests in the different states of Venezuela. Mr. Iglesias is currently also the Managing Director of the Youth Debate Organization, a group dedicated to training student leaders in 10 states of the country. Mr. Iglesias is a defender of human rights and has presented reports on the state of youth rights before the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) and the United Nations with other Venezuelan organizations.
