Jelena Đureinović is a historian and Memory Activism Program Coordinator at Humanitarian Law Center in Belgrade, Serbia. She holds a PhD in History from the University of Giessen in Germany and MA in Nationalism Studies from Central European University in Budapest. The topics she engages with revolve around historical revisionism, memory politics and Yugoslavia and the post-Yugoslav space. Jelena is interested in football as a fan, writer and historian. She has been involved in FC St. Pauli fan scene while living in Hamburg twice over the last 10 years. She is a member of 1910 - Museum für den FC St. Pauli e.V., a fan initiative for the club museum. In 2018 and 2019, she worked for FC St. Pauli Museum on various projects, including archives, merchandise and oral history project. She occasionally contributes to football blogs and magazines.
